Naji, a multifaceted artist, musician, and mix engineer, embarked on his musical voyage as a drummer. However, a pivotal dream in 2015, featuring a potato, steered him towards a new trajectory as a solo vocalist and producer. His debut single, “Baked Potatoes,” unexpectedly garnered critical acclaim, signifying the commencement of a more introspective and mature phase in his musical journey.

In 2016, Naji’s collaboration with producer Glasstempo resulted in the emotionally charged single, “Fallen.” This track resonated with major platforms and labels such as Majestic Casual, Soulection, Lyrical Lemonade, and Pigeons and Planes, cementing Naji’s status in the Indie R&B landscape.

With a repertoire of over 200 collaborative projects, including the celebrated track “Mona Lisa” produced with Grammy-nominated artist monte booker, Naji’s influence broadened with the release of his debut album, “Misfit.”

He further contributed to the music industry by introducing a live-drum sample pack on the popular sample library platform Splice, “Mr. Drummer Boy,” which has been lauded and utilized by industry giants like Giveon, Labrinth, JID, Kenny Beats, D-Mile, DEAN, among others.

Following a hiatus from 2019 to 2022 for artistic rebranding and refinement, Naji’s collective works and production contributions have amassed an impressive 500 million+ streams. As 2024 marks the beginning of his Sophomore era, Naji is gearing up to release new projects every month for the foreseeable future.
